Duped CRM is a sales CRM in the style of HubSpot's Sales Hub, built with AI coding tools for the Duped newsletter, where every hour, cost and failure is published. Get a sandbox of your own, filled with a made-up business, and click around: move deals, ask it questions, describe an automation, break things and undo them.
What's real in the sandbox
The demo runs the same code as a real install. A few things that would reach the outside world are simulated or switched off, and here is why.
LiveContacts, companies, deals, tasks, notes, lists, filters, bulk editsThe real app, on your own made-up data.
LiveHistory and Undo, reports, goals, spreadsheet import and exportThe real app.
LiveAutomationsThey run on your sandbox's events, including the simulated emails.
Live, uses AI creditsAsk, describing an automation, describing a reportReal AI models, the same cheap ones the app uses. Each sandbox gets 30 requests. Why: They cost a fraction of a cent each, so we can give some away.
SimulatedInboxMade-up conversations. Your replies are kept as sent, and nothing leaves the demo. Why: Syncing a real mailbox is a paid service per mailbox, and we aren't going to pay it for every reader.
SimulatedSending email, sequencesEverything the app would send goes to your Outbox instead. Why: A public sandbox that sends email would be a gift to spammers, and would ruin the sending domain.
SimulatedMeetings and your booking pageThe booking page works and books; invites and confirmations go to your Outbox. Why: Calendar sync uses the same paid mailbox service.
LivePublic lead forms and booking pagesOnly you can open your sandbox's pages, in this browser. Why: Otherwise anyone could use the demo to host pages that collect other people's details.
Not in the demoBCC address, connecting AI apps (MCP), Attio import, Google sign-inShown, but switched off. Why: Each one needs a real mailbox, a real account or a key to another service, and the demo never asks for those.
